A visit to the Market Street Art Spot this month will remind you of what’s to love about October. The colorful acrylic paintings of Carol McGill and the exquisite Raku pottery of Judith Singer (this month’s Featured Artists) will set your heart ablaze. Exhibit runs through Saturday, November 7th, so you still have lots of time to stop in.
Many thanks to Dr. Paul Binnig, D.V.M. and Mrs. Diane Binnig, sponsors of the opening reception.

It was a cold January blast outside on Friday, the 9th, but inside the Art Spot was warm with friends who braved the frosty weather to meet the Paris Studios and Gallery artists being featured this month. Lively, foot-stompin’ music was provided by Beth Gray and Dennis Kempthorne. If you were unable to attend, make plans to stop by before the show closes on February 7th. MSAS hours are Thursday and Friday from 1 to 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 to 4.
MSAS expresses sincere gratitude to the Miller Family, January’s sponsor.
Ask Fredlee Votaw about a particular piece of art he has created and he will tell you its story. “Doc Votaw” creates drawings, paintings and assemblages inspired by stories that have in some way touched his life. On display now through April 5th at the Market Street Art Spot in Minerva, are many of these stories. The exhibit opened on Friday, March 14th, with a great crowd of support. Light refreshments were served along with lively music performed by Beth Gray and Dennis Kempthorne. MSAS expresses sincere gratitude to the Village of Minerva for sponsoring the event.
