The June opening reception at the MSAS may have begun with a torrent of rain, but that didn’t put a damper on the success of the evening, as many came out to see what Isaac Stanley has been up to artistically. As for the “Raines” inside the gallery, it was a downpour of great music (and fabulous food!) enjoyed by all!
This current exhibit will remain on display through Friday, July 3rd. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Friday 1 to 6 pm and Saturday 10 – 4 pm. MSAS will be closed on July 4th.
MSAS extends sincere thanks to Greenport Financial Services in Minerva for sponsoring the reception.
“Pathways, crossroads, detours…life is a journey full of options. We set our foot to the path and onward we travel. Likewise, the creative quest. Whether by the path of familiarity, the crossroad of a new direction or the detour of a forced change, we forge ahead accumulating experience for future steps. My artistic sojourn, represented in this exhibit, expresses both, comfortable and newly explored territory.”
Please join us as the MSAS features one of our very own Resident Artists, Michelle Mulligan. Opening reception from 5 to 9 pm on Friday, November 14th, is sponsored by the Minerva Area Federal Credit Union. Refreshments will be served. Kristen Mulligan Exposito will be on keyboard providing musical entertainment.

Around the world in eighty days? Not quite. Joan Henninger has been enjoying an artistic journey for most of her life. On display now until July 5th are the fruits of that journey. The opening reception on June 13th was a well attended, enjoyable event with Kristen Mulligan Exposito’s lovely music adding to the pleasantry. If you did not make the opening, you should make the effort to visit the Market Street Art Spot to partake in Joan’s continuing artistic journey.
